Dr. Davis has over 27 years of experience as a community-based pain medicine physician. He has clinical expertise in the development of evidence-based, patient-centered individual and population health products that have applications in care management systems across treatment settings. In this capacity, he has been an advocate for integrating IT systems for quality measures in the field of pain medicine.
In 1994, Dr. Davis co-founded ProCare™ Systems, Inc., which is a medical practice management organization serving a network of practices and supporting allied health companies throughout Michigan. He is actively involved in multicenter epidemiological and clinical effectiveness research and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Davis received his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and his medical degree at Rush University. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
Mark Gostine, MD, is president of Michigan Pain Consultants, the largest pain management practice in the state of Michigan. He has been in pain management since 1983, and during his career he has made more than 100,000 patient visits.
In 2005 Dr. Gostine published a study linking low levels of vitamin D to chronic pain. He has also conducted studies on the management of neuropathy with nutritional agents. Dr. Gostine presented a study of over 39,000 patients that examined the interplay between sun exposure, lifestyle, and the incidence of pregnancy-induced hypertension to the American Society of Clinical Nutrition. To date, his study is the largest outcome study of this nature done in North America. In addition, along with Fred N. Davis, MD, he started ProCare™ Systems to develop systems to analyze pain management outcomes. There are currently more than 30,000 patient outcomes in the company's database.
Cyndy has a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and over thirty years experience in healthcare management. Cyndy has done extensive research and program development to support delivery of care in the changing healthcare market. She has focused on creating patient care delivery models using information systems to manage utilization, clinical quality, and financial risk.
Cyndy is one of the founding partners and CEO of our parent company, ProCare™ Systems. She has led the management team in the development and execution of innovative business and clinical operating systems with a focus on using key clinical and practice performance indicators to manage an organization.
Chris has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology Services. He combines a high level of technical expertise with a strong management background. He understands the importance of a solid IT infrastructure as well as the need to align IT with business strategies. Chris has a master's degree in information technology from Grand Valley State University.
Over 10 years ago, Rebecca took on the newly created role of Director of Systems Development and Research for ProCare™ Systems, our parent company. She has provided leadership for several clinical initiatives focused on quality of care, patient satisfaction, staff education, and regulatory compliance as well as business projects related to purchasing and facilities.
As a director for ProCare™ Research, Rebecca brings strong organizational and project management skills to the team. Rebecca has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Valley State.
